 AT LAST - A WIN !!

Our 8 game losing streak was ended emphatically at Kingstonian and guarantees that we will not finish bottom of the Division whatever the result in our final game at home to Lewes next Saturday. A goal early in each half from Mekhi McLeod and a penalty netted by Olu Durojaiye just before half-time settled the game and condemned our hosts to 22nd spot. We climbed to 20^th, a point ahead of Concord Rangers who only picked up one point today from a home 1-1 draw with Whitehawk, and we will hold on to it provided we secure one more point than do Concord from their two remaining games (home to Bognor Regis Town on Tuesday and away to Horsham next Saturday) - TUESDAY UPDATE - Concord lost to Bognor so to finish 20th we must match or better their result on Saturday..................on Sunday 21st THE WOMEN have no game as their potential opponents Royston Town have a County Cup match. Their visit to Royston has been rescheduled for 5th May. They  visit bottom Club Kings Lynn Town next Sunday 28th before hoping to end the season in a blaze of glory by winning their Capital Womens Senior Cup Final against Ashford Town (Middlesex).  The Final will be played on the ground of Hendon FC - Silver Jubilee Park, Kingbury, NW9 7NE - on Thursday 2nd May at 7.30pm.

CHARTER STANDARD ACHIEVED

The Club has now been awarded FA Adult Club Charter Standard Status

FA CUP & TROPHY DRAWS ANNOUNCED

In the Preliminary Round of the FA CUP, Borough will visit either FELIXTOWE & WALTON UNITED (who finished 5th in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League last season) or BARKING (3rd in the Essex Senior League) on Saturday 29th August

In the Preliminary Round of the FA TROPHY, Borough will visit FOLKESTONE INVICTA (runners up in Ryman League Division One South last season) on 3rd October.

Success in that game would result in a visit to DUNSTABLE TOWN (14th in the Evostik Southern League - Premier Division)

RYMAN LEAGUE CONSTITUTION CONFIRMED

The Constitution of the Ryman Leage was confirmed at the League AGM held on Sunday 14^th June at the Wembley Hilton Hotel.

Borough are members of a 24 team DIVISION ONE NORTH and will be playing:-

League Matches commence on Saturday 8^th August

JOHN PATMAN MEMORIAL TROPHY WINNER

           FOR 2014/15 is:-

DARRELL COX

The presentation of the silver plate was made to Darrell at the Club’s social evening held in the Clubhouse on 4^th June.   Well deserved recognition for his 38 goal haul – all the more remarkable as injury and work restricted his appearances to 30 from a possible 49 games

The Trophy is awarded annually in memory of our long term supporter, John Patman , who sadly passed away in 2013 and thus missed our hugely successful  final two years as a Level 5 Club

NOW ITS OFFICIAL - WE ARE A RYMAN LEAGUE CLUB

Below is a copy paste of an e-mail received by the Secretary today from the FA Leagues & Clubs Manager:-

Good evening John

I am writing to advise you that at a meeting of the Leagues Committee held earlier today the promotion of Haringey Borough FC to Step 4 of the National League System was confirmed.

The club has been allocated to the Isthmian League Division One North for season 2015/2016.
